"The log has aged wonderfully! We did sand the interior and outer flat edges before we used it to prevent splinters, and now the bottom half has smoothed out from use and natural oils of people using the tunnel. We're seeing the outer bark layer separate just a bit from the core, but nothing major. Overall, we (and our guests) are super happy with the purchase, and it has definitely been a drawing feature for many families."
